- Is this a store?
- No. You host your audiobooks; we provide private space and the player.
- Who is it for?
- Anyone with a personal audiobook collection who wants a quiet place to keep it and a player made for listening — including a household.
- Is FableAuri like Audiobookshelf?
- Same idea as a private audiobook shelf for files you already own — but FableAuri is hosted. You subscribe instead of installing and running a self-hosted audiobook server. We are not affiliated with Audiobookshelf.
- Do I need to self-host an audiobook server?
- No. FableAuri is managed hosting: subscribe, upload your library, and listen in our player. There is no server, Docker image, or home NAS to maintain.
- What is a household profile?
- A profile is a named listener without email or password — useful for kids on a shared device. Anyone signed into your household can pick a profile after login. Each profile or login uses one seat.
- Can I try before subscribing?
- There’s no free hosting tier. Choose a plan on the pricing page and create your account in the portal — billing happens at signup.
- Where do I manage my library?
- In the FableAuri portal at listen.fableauri.com.
- How do I get help?
- Use the contact form or email hello@fableauri.com.
